Game of Runs: Week 16

Listen up…No one just came out of the womb great or amazing at anything! 

God blessed us all with God given abilities to be CAPABLE to achieve the things we set our mind too.

In addition to this, I tend to see many people (including myself) shy away from things they are passionate about but not necessarily good yet at due to expecting the end results to be an easy pathway and to come quick.

In my life, I have had to learn that mindset is just very UNREALISTIC. 

All the greats that we look up too and admire in any field all had a POINT OF DEPARTURE.

Which means they all had a starting point and had to go through the process of uncomfortability, adversity, and growth before they got to where they are. 

In my opinion, I truly believe in anyone’s journey, the Point of Departure and all the things in between before you get to whatever your end goal is, that is the most beautiful part of each and everyone’s personal hero’s journey. We often here the cliche metaphor:

“Nothing worth having in life, comes easy.”

And I’m a firm believer in that! 

My wish is to whomever is reading this and to those who haven’t that you all embrace the Point of Departure in your journey, the difference of the ones who excel in life are the ones who won’t back down from any challenge!
